Stefanie Lueck is a world traveler and painter based in Rosengarten/Hamburg, Germany. Her love of different cultures and storytelling is reflected in her colorful and dynamic paintings and collages, which are created using acrylic painting and photoshop.

Stefanie's passion for art began at a young age when stories were the gateway into intriguing and fascinating worlds. Her paintings are an attempt to capture the beauty and diversity of different cultures and create unexpected relationships between people and nature.

She received her formal education in Fine Arts from the Städelschule in Frankfurt/Main, where she studied under the guidance of renowned artist Per Kirkeby. She also studied at the Slade School of Fine Art in London with Bruce McLean, who have both been influential in her artistic development.

In addition to her fine art background, Stefanie also has a background in Communication and Product Design, which has sharpened her skills in photography and post-production. These skills are now incorporated into her artwork, giving her a unique and dynamic approach to her art.

Stefanie has exhibited her work in Europe and the United States, and her paintings can be found in private collections in Hamburg, Stuttgart, London, and New York.

Artist Statement

My work is deeply rooted in a fascination with stories, cultures, and the human experience. Inspired by travel, childhood memories, and inner worlds, I combine photographic collage and painting to create layered visual narratives. My process blends structure with spontaneity — it is both intentional and open to the unexpected.

For me, art is an expression of who I am. Everything I create carries a part of my identity. My pieces invite viewers to pause, reflect, and discover beauty — in the unfamiliar as well as the familiar. If a work brings joy, sparks a thought, or opens a heart, it has already made a difference.
